After reading Casey's post on the blog about what our "Top Stories" are and what's trending, this article made me concerned about what we are focusing our attention on, too. I know it is different in America because we are able to stay connected through social media, but the news we are spending time looking at is actually irrelevant to the overall state of the country. I think it is super important to know and analyze the decisions our government makes, because I believe what happened in Zimbabwe displayed how power can be abused.
