Mark Cuban on Prejudice

In the aftermath of the Donald Sterling incident, Mark Cuban the owner of the Mavericks which is another NBA franchise gave a recent interview about prejudice. In the interview Cuban stated that we all have prejudices including himself, which I completely agree with. I think that it all just depends how we express our prejudices. Some people are very open about their prejudices and others keep their prejudices private. Cuban also caused some controversy when he said "If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it's late at night, I'm walking to the other side of the street. And if on that side of the street, there's a guy that has tattoos all over his face -- white guy, bald head, tattoos everywhere -- I'm walking back to the other side of the street."  I think many people mistook his comments as him being racist or stereotyping blacks. Also I think many feel very sensitive about this topic especially after the Trayvon Martin incident where he was killed because of his appearance. But I think he was just making the point if he sees someone that looks sketchy then he's going to act with caution and walk away. I think I would do the same as well, if I were in that situation.

What do you think about Cuban's comments?
