Electric Chair

Over the year, we have briefly touched the topic of the death penalty. I do believe in the death penalty in some cases, but being killed in an electric chair just seems inhumane. This week, Tennessee has decided to replace the lethal injection with the electric chair. Although there is a shortage of the lethal injection it does not seem right to kill death row inmates this way. I believe should alternative methods should be explored before considering this painful and lengthy way of death.

  1. I do agree that the electric chair is an inhumane way of killing some one. I also also agree that some people deserve to die in this way. For example, a serial killer. He/she probably made people suffer prior to their killings. The serial killer being killed by a lethal injection would have it easy and perhaps pleasant, while the person they killed suffered in their last moments of life.
