It would scare me to think that the car that I am driving is under a recall from the manufacturer. In the latest recall from General Motors this week includes 3 million vehicles on the road. Having to do with belts, bags, and more. General Motors said that they will set aside $400 million for this quarter to deal with recalls. Though they are a business trying to make money their seems to be a disconnect between large auto manufactures and the safety of their customers. GM knew about an ignition switch module problem since 2001 and didn't fix it to this year, 2014! It was linked to 12 deaths in 46 accidents that involved injury or death in the U.S. and one fatal crash in Canada. 13 years GM knew of the problem and did nothing about it because of money. Lives were lost and they seem to just fade away into numbers. Which is really wrong in my opinion, families lost love ones over negligence by a car company. I think that further punishment should be brought on upon GM to teach them a lesson. Since they clearly don't seem to care for their customers over money.
