On tuesday of this week Kevin Nguyen who is a police officer for the city of mountain view was arrested on suspicion of child porn possession which they found on his computer. Officer Nguyen was a patrol officer but was mostly known for his outstanding sketches when identifying a suspect. However this man is now tainted and with the worst color of all. I honestly feel disgusted about this because this man is supposed to protect the people of mountain view but now knowing that this man had possession of child pornography makes him repulsive. I agree with you. It seems to be just another case of an officer tainting the badge he is wearing. The police have gained a bad rap in the news over the last 5-10 years partially due to the commonality of the filming these days, but this is beyond inexcusable and makes me sick knowing that this man was charged with the safety of citizens.
ReplyDeleteTruly we can never feel safe with even police officers who are in charge of protecting the community having possession of child pornography. With this article I think parents should really be more assuring their children are safe when they go out to play outside or go to the park because you never know who's watching them. It could be any pervert from a civilian to even a Police Officer.
