So just for the late bloggers to have something interesting to blog about I just came across an article on yahoo about how Donald has now given up on managing the Clippers and has handed the team over to his wife Shelly! Now that she is in charge there has been speculation that she as been talking to the NBA and the commissioner Adam Silver about a possible sale. However Shelly doesn't seem to convinced yet and plans on trying to keep the ownership of the team because she does have most of the leverage now since the NBA can't force her to sell the team. So read part of the article or all and comment on what you think Shelly Sterling will do now that she is managing the Los Angeles Clippers.

ReplyDeleteI think that it will take years before the NBA will get the Sterlings to sell the Clippers. If they can do so. I don't think that the Sterling's want to sell the entirety of the Clippers if at all. The only way the NBA will get over this whole ordeal will be if they can get the Sterling's to sell the whole team not just a percentage of it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the sterlings will sell the clippers either because the NBA can't force her to sell. The only thing that would make her sell would be the media and public opinion on this. Depending on how seriously the public takes this and how much she is effected by it will determine whether she will sell or not......But either way they have way more than enough money to even worry about it.
ReplyDeleteThe Sterlings are winning since one sterling which is Donald sterling isn't allowed to own the clippers his wife can due to the fact that she owns 50% of his things since shes the wife, clearly having money can help out in many cases such as keeping the clippers a team that they bought and i honestly think they will not sell the team anytime soon.
