What is right with the Autistic Mind?

I came across this article and found that it made me think back to what happened at Newtown and the insanity defense.

Here it is:

  1. Most of society views a person with Autism as "retarded," and this stereotype completely false. Depending on how severe their Autism is, some individuals can succeed. Although people with Autism struggle with social interactions, they often are very bright in a certain subject, depending on the person. The author makes a great point at the end by saying we need to look at the strengths and weaknesses of the individual and discover what they are successful in.
