Göth

As I was reading more about Amon Göth I came across an interview with Ralph Fiennes, the man who potrayed him. He stated how disturbing it was for him to truly submerge himself in the roll and feel the raw hate and anger that the character called for. We often see villains portrayed but I feel that villains with a real quality are the most frightful of all. I do not think I could ever take a roll that involved Nazis or something of the like simply because I would be too afraid to admit the humanity of the person's I am portraying. That also was Fiennes point as he did not like admitting that at the core the Nazis were humans. What are your thoughts?
