Schindlerjuden

So we have talked at length about Schindler and his choice and rightfully so as he made an extremely selfless decision and is responsible for many lives. What I wanted to discuss here is what it would be like to be one of the Jews to make it on The List. Imagine giving up all hope for survival or even the possibility of seeing your family again, but through the bleakest day you learn a virtual stranger has paid for your freedom. I would be overwhelmed. I personally could not fathom such an act of kindness and as I said in my other post I do not think I could have carried it out either. How would you feel if you had been given the chance that Oskar Schindler gave those 1200 Jews?
