10 year old suspended

A 10 year old was suspended for pretending to shoot arrows with his pencil. Do you believe this was right or wrong? Why?

  1. This is rubbish. He's young and didn't have any intentions of hurting anyone. This was just kids being kids. Therefore I don't believe he should've been suspended, unless pencils have become a highly dangerous threat to the well-being of students. But in all seriousness this is nonsense. As for the last part of the article where another student was suspended for playing with a toy gun in his own yard, this is just absurd. At school as ridiculous as it seems administration is allowed to discipline/punish you as they feel necessary. But for them to suspend you for something you do during your own free time at your own home is a new low.

  2. I think they must have had other reasons for suspending this kid. He probably already had a record of causing trouble.

  3. I don't think this is a reason to suspend the kid because i have done this plenty of times when i was younger and i never got in trouble. I don't think he was really trying to hurt anyone he was just playing around like any ten year old would do.
