Some of you may remember Chloes post on Kendrick Johnson. This was the article from the original post
http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/07/justice/georgia-gym-mat-death/index.html?iref=allsearch
I was doing some more research on it and found another article that goes into more depth on the case and even suggests possible motives and suspects in the case

I find it absurd that this death was ruled an accident because of all the evidence that rules out all possibilities of this being an accident. The claim is that Johnson got stuck in one of the wrestling mats after trying to get his shoe that was in the mat and he suffocated. If this were true I don't think his face would be as damaged as it was. The autopsy also suggests foul play and surely positional asphyxiation cannot create such damages as indicated. This article offers more depth on the Jonhnson case and possible motives for killing the teen. This upcoming January will mark one year of Johnsons death and still nothing has been done to serve justice for Johnson and his parents are still fighting for further investigation in this case. Overall this case frustrates me because it is so obvious that this was no accident and I find it appalling that Internal Affairs didn't get involved due to the role the police played in all of this. Below is a picture of Kendrick Johnson before and after his death.
It's terrifying to think that something like this can happen and nothing has been done about it to this day. Maybe this is meant to scare us and keep us in fear of the system and how much power they have and this is just an example of what they are capable of. Maybe this is a modern day example of Machiavelli's Fear over Love theory, but instead of fearing a leader we fear the justice system as a whole. Or maybe this was just a terrible accident.
