Bhopa!

         Today, during the large group we started off another film about apartheid in South Africa called Bopha! . The first few scenes of the film consisted of a black South African officer with a well educated son. With a few key points, it could be said that the officer isn't well received by both races. The son was very reluctant to accept the South African laws, like being the education board making all the blacks schools use the Afrikaans language, and because of this the son organized an illegal meeting which was interrupted by the police force. In the aftermath, many young students were arrested with Micah in charge of the attack. So far the film portrays of how apartheid ignited a sort of rebellion.
