As I think about this whole year in Global I can only say “holy crap I learned a lot of shit.” You would think with learning that much stuff you would get bored, lose interest, and stop caring. But I had the exact opposite experience in this class. Before Global, I knew I wasn’t prepared for college; and I was scared. Now that we are done, I will enter my college classes with a confidence I never thought I would have about my academic skills. Global is the only class throughout high school I didn’t ask “When are we going to need to know this?” “The Force” aka my interactive notebook will be the only high school material I'll bring to college with me.
